Helb/ULB - Campus Erasme

« This singular building is a landmark on the medical and paramedical university campus articulating two autonomous but complementary educational entities, the paramedical and social sections of the Private College of Brussels Ilya Prigogine, and the Science Institute of Motricity of the Free University of Brussels.

Inlaid in a base of dark concrete, these two volumes dressed in a hammered stainless steel skin, face each other and create a microclimate, acting as impressionistic reflectors, revealing every type of weather and of atmospheric mood.

The artist Daniel Deltour joined the team and participated in the entire conception process. This approach gave an architectural, spontaneous and voluntarily raw inscription, based on the elaboration of details as an actor in the general concept.»
